Day 7

Today we had another new bus and new bus driver...Gianni. Not to fear, Claudio is coming back. The garage couldn't fix our bus, so Claudio drove it back to Italy, got it fixed, and was brnging it back to join us for Day 8.

Back to Day 7....we drove to the town of Eze, France, to the L 'Usine Laboratoire Gallimard Parfumery. Fancy name, uh? We first started with a tour...really was interesting how they make perfume. The smell about knocked some of us out, it was SO strong. You couldn't take photos in there...not at all. After the tour, we ended in a shop where, once again, the shoppers came out! We bought perfumes, eau de toilette, soaps, etc. Kalen spent the equivalent of $256!

We continued on heading towards Pisa. We stopped for lunch at the Autogrill Ceriale Sud. You know how we pull into gas stations along the highway, well, that's what this was except they have full restaurants. We continued on until we got to Pescia where we stayed at the Villa delle Rose hotel. It supposedly had 4 swimming pools, although I only saw one. There ended up being 4 People to People groups in the hotel!

We were smelling good at the end of Day 7!
